In terms of ascent, the Backland Sport features soles entirely made from rubber which ensures a natural walking movement. They provide the necessary performance uphill thanks to their 74° range of movement as well as their opening/closing mechanism. These boots also feature the Free/Lock 4.0 system, which allows you to switch from ski to walk mode in a single movement. In walking mode, they offer an incredible 74° range of motion at the collar and the forward lean angle is adjustable to 13°, 15° or 17°. You can ski with confidence because the Backland Sport offer excellent skiing performance on the way down.

The Backland Sport benefit from the Prolite where the PU shell is refined at strategic points and allows an incredible gain in weight without losing any foot support. They also include the Energy Backbone which improves the lateral resistance and grip for even more power. With the True Flex, you no longer need to worry, the Backland Sport keeps the same flex all year round, so they will not be more flexible in the spring, or become as hard as a rock during the colder times.
