In terms of ascent, the Backland Pro UL are equipped with a Frictionless pivot system, and soles entirely made from rubber which ensures natural movement. They provide the necessary performance uphill thanks to their 74° range of movement as well as their opening/closing mechanism. You'll feel like you're wearing walking shoes! These boots include the Free/Lock 4.0 system which allows a transition from walk mode to ski mode in a single fast and efficient motion. Once attached, you can ski serenely because the Backland Pro UL offers excellent performance during ski descent.

The Backland Pro UL benefits from the Prolite construction, where the PU shell is refined at strategic points and which allows an impressive weight saving without losing foot support. They also include the Energy Backbone which improves the lateral resistance and grip for even more power.
