Available only in storeTheEvo 5 is an avalanche victim detector (AVD) from the brand Arva that offers an excellent compactness/performance ratio for optimal integration into your jacket pocket.
It has three antennas, a backlit screen with a loudspeaker that will guide you with precision, as well as direction and distance indicators with a range of 50 metres in search bands. It will be your best ally in multi-victim situations thanks to its function of marking up to three victims.
In the event of a secondary avalanche, the function Revert-To-Transmit enables the device to automatically switch back to transmit mode. Furthermore, interference management maximises the device's performance in search mode in an environment overwhelmed by electromagnetic interference.
Please note : The Holster for carrying the avalanche transceiver, which can replace the traditional strap system, is no included.

Revert-To-Transmit:
During a search, in the event of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmission function allows the device to automatically switch back to transmission mode. This switch is activated by a timer after a certain period of user inactivity. The default adjustment is 8 minutes.
Interference control:
Interference management maximises the device's performance in search mode in an environment overwhelmed by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the device automatically reduces the search band width and ignores all other frequencies to focus solely on the tracked beacon. This function can be disabled by the user.
