L'Arv 88 is from the Arv Series, this year it's the artist David Alabo who has collaborated with the brand, adding a dose of surrealism and pizzazz to the screen-printing on the skis. This range is the most fun at Armadadesigned for all-mountain and freestyle skiers who have as much fun in the snow parks as they do in the backcountry. The Arv are solid and high performing skis, to always take off higher!
With its 88mm at the base, theArv 88 is one of the most playful skis in the range, designed to ski at speed and with confidence in the snowpark, then send the most beautiful rotations. These ultra-reactive skis have 2.5 mm thick edges which make them stronger without making them heavier. The W3DGEWALLsidewalls reinforce the skis, making them tougher and more durable, trick after trick over several seasons. It is built around a poplar core, which is very light but also stable and powerful. Perfect for shooting long, straight lines in tricky slaloms or getting into the halp-pipe when the snow is hard.
Lively and dynamic, the Arv 88 will glide on all types of snow, even powder. Naturally, this model is equipped with a double freestyle rocker, so that you can gain speed with confidence in unpredictable snow conditions and make the whole mountain your! Its softer flex at the tip and heel gives it a good pop for incredible take-offs and makes it an agile ski with which you can let your creativity run wild.
It's the ideal ski for experienced freestylers looking for a playful, manoeuvrable ski that will take them through the seasons!

Construction:
Poplar core : With our 100% poplar core, stability, power and pop are guaranteed. For those looking for a predictable, gentle feel, the poplar core will deliver, whatever the snow conditions.
AR Freestyle Rocker :The rocker in the tip and tail is combined with the traditional camber under the foot to allow you to track easily in variable and unpredictable conditions, whether in switch or in the "right" direction, and to retain good power when carving.

Technologies
Edges 2.5 Impact : These XXL edges undergo a special heat treatment to withstand the most violent impacts in particularly demanding conditions.
S7 sole: This sliced sole is optimised to offer maximum speed, resistance and wax retention.
Sidewalls W3DGEWALL : this is an injected, 3D-moulded sidewall that is angled where it meets the wood core, creating a mechanical bond in the mould during ski construction for a stronger, more uniform connection.
CAUTION if you choose a fixing assembly : you have two options:
- "Freestyle Recommended" point marked at -2.5cm from the actual centre. A mounting that provides the stability needed to effectively pull off your favourite tricks.
- "Factory Recommended" point marked at -5cm from the centre of the ski. The ideal set-up for a versatile use between carving on the piste and off-piste.
When you enter the information in the assembly form (when validating the model of fasteners), we will let you specify the option you want in the "Additional information" section. Otherwise, the workshop technicians will automatically comply with the "Factory Recommended" point.
L'Arv 88 est un ski freestyle ultra-résistant et très maniable pour pivoter facilement tout en restant bien stable et solide sur les modules les plus exigeants. Il se montrera particulièrement efficace dans le snowpark grâce à son pop et sa réactivité. C'est le ski parfait si vous aimez envoyer des press, butters et rotations dans tous les sens !
