- Flex: 6/10 - Medium
- Sidecuts: 301/252/301 for the 154cm model
- Curve radius: 7.5m for the 154cm size
Shape:
- Directionel Twin: A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional accent. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, improving performance in one main direction. This design is ideal for combining good powder and park performance.
- Camrock 1-4-1: Camrocker boards have a profile where the centre of the board is closer to the snow, and the nose and tail are raised.
Improves flotation in powder, easier to initiate turns and is generally more forgiving.
May sacrifice a little edge hold and stability compared to traditional camber.
Construction:
- Extruded: YES Snowboards 's extruded bases are durable, low-maintenance and cost-effective, making them ideal for beginners and casual riders. Created by melting polyethylene granules and moulding them, these bases have a lower porosity, requiring less waxing and simplifying adjustments. While sintered bases perform better, extruded bases offer a smoother learning curve and a more forgiving ride in a variety of conditions.
- Poplar/Paulownia Core: The YES Snowboards Poplar/Paulownia core is made from 50% poplar and 50% paulownia. Poplar offers a light consistency and flex, improving agility. Paulownia, which is even lighter, reduces weight while maintaining strength. This blend creates a lightweight, responsive and durable snowboard that's perfect for a range of riding styles and conditions.
- Biax : Biaxial or "Biax" glass fibre is made up of fibres oriented in two directions, generally along the length and width of the board. This construction results in a balanced flex pattern, making the snowboard more forgiving and easier to control. It improves torsional flexibility, allowing smoother turns and manoeuvres, which is particularly beneficial for riders who prefer a playful, versatile riding experience rather than aggressive performance.
Technology:
| Forever Flex |
Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that stabilises a board's flex and rocker for its entire lifespan. Our boards finish the first stages of production slightly overbraced, then we 'break' them using a specialised machine that imitates the extreme use of the board. By flexing the fresh board fibres and epoxy at the factory, the materials settle into their final layout within the board layup, as if you'd been wrinkling the board for 20 days. This process helps us reduce our production tolerances so that the board you buy has a more accurate flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more often. |
