RWS is a voluntary global standard that focuses on sheep welfare and the protection of pastureland. It guarantees that farming practices have been verified, providing brands with a clear framework that enables them to make confident claims about the origin of the wool.

Merino wool

The comfort and performance of merino wool are simply exceptional. It is soft and very flexible. An excellent thermal insulator, it regulates body temperature perfectly in both Winter and summer. It can absorb up to a third of its weight in water vapour; the warmth it provides prevents you from feeling cold, and even when wet, the clothes stay warm... Wool fibres are naturally durable against mechanical wear and tear, do not easily become soiled and have antibacterial properties, significantly reducing unpleasant odours and the need for washing. Like any natural material, merino wool is biodegradable.
