Zag poles

Les Bâtons d'Alain Alain DESEZ, are hiking and ski touring poles developed by the Chamonix-based mountain guide and mountaineer .

Extremely versatile, they can be used for summer hiking, hiking or trail running. Such as in winter when you’re out ski touring, with snow shoes or skiing on steep slopes.

The main feature of the Bâtons d'Alain is their long, ergonomic grip (winner of the Gold Medal at the Concours Lépine in Paris in 2011). Thanks to this, your hands will always be in the correct position, never touching the Shaft, and will be well supported.

These single-strandpoles, which are slightly flexible and feature a tungsten tip, ensure optimal energy transfer, whilst the lack of a wrist strap makes them comfortable and safe to use.

For your security, reflective strips have been attached to the poles to improve your visibility at night. 

Finally, two pairs of removable baskets (38 mm at 5 g / 85 mm at 14 g) are included for your adventures on dry or snow-covered terrain.
