Technologies:

Hybrid shell: Combines the advantages of the In-Mold and the ABS. They consist of a cap on the upper part of the helmet for maximum resistance in sensitive areas, and an In-mold shell on the lower part to save weight and add comfort.

MIPS^® : This system (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is designed to absorb the rotational force due to the impact during a fall, considerably reducing its impact on the brain.

Optimized Soud System (OSS) : The ear pieces are hollowed out on the inside to prevent them from blocking the ear canal and are V-shaped to fit snugly around the ear for optimum comfort. In addition, they feature a mesh-lined opening to let the sound pass through whilst reducing the flow of air.

Aero Flow Ventilation: Ventilation channels cut directly into the helmet's EPS shell, easing the flow of air between the front and back of the helmet. The ThermoFlow gives an ultra-lightweight and naturally ventilated helmet.

V-Fit Design: The V-Fit Design earpieces are more comfortable than conventional earpieces. V-shaped on the inside, they surround the ear without compressing it, for a comfort that lasts all day long.

RECCO^® : Recco technology allows you to be located in the event of an avalanche accident. Thanks to Recco reflectors, a buried person can be located quickly and accurately by the emergency services. However, it does not replace the use of the DVA (Avalanche Victim Detector). Working hand-in-hand, Cairn and Recco have innovated and directly integrated a Recco reflector into the shell of the helmet, so it can last longer and look great.
