As always with Bataleonthe name announces the colour! So let us introduce you to the Whatever (Whatever). And yes, no matter what the conditions, the day's schedule or your mood, the Whatever will give you the best sessions of your life (and put a smile on your face).
But let's take a look at this board. Its Twin 3BT™ profile guarantees a balanced ride in normal and switch, but also easy rotations. In addition, the wider central part provides good stability which makes pressing and sliding easier. If you want to take off on all the kickers in the park, backcountry, or on the slopes, the Whatever gives you the boost with its pop-enhancing D.S.Tinserts .
Able to go down hard, the Whatever can be stable and incisive in curves thanks to the carbon Stringers which ensure good lateral rigidity, while the sole Hyper Glide S guarantees amazing speed! To ensure that the curves are held in difficult snow conditions, Bataleon relies on a medium camber, and Sidekick™ technology that acts like power steering!
For all the riders who want to be able to do everything with one board, do it with a Whatever.

- Cambre:
Medium Camber - Standard camber slightly revised. Provides a good grip in hard snow, but easily forgives tricky landings and small edge faults.
- Flex:
4/10 - Medium Flex, A board that absorbs the roughness of the terrain while remaining stiff enough to handle speed and grip on hard snow.
- Rockers:
Medium Uplift (Tail&Nose) - Rockers avant et arrières symétriques pour une ride équilibré en normal comme en switch. Moderately raised to allow a good mix between manoeuvrability, grip and flotation.
- Outline Shape:
Directional Twin Outline - Nose longer than the tail. Gives these boards a remarkable versatility between freestyle and freeride. Equal size centre and side panels for a balanced ride.
- 3D Shape :
Twin 3BT™ - The Triple Base Technology™ is great. Raised side base areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn more easily and quickly and this helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
Sidekick™ - Significantly increases the lateral base lift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes the turn initiation even smoother, increases the flotation in powder and the manoeuvrability of the board in rough terrain.
Shock Walls - This is urethane-infused sidewall technology. The ShockWalls makes your ride smoother and more impact resistant.
- Core :
Light Woodcore - The 50/50 Swiss paulownia and poplar create a balanced, lively but strong core.
D.S.T (Dual Super Tube) - Mises à niveau du noyau en carbone creux qui sont insérées dans le noyau. Hollow carbon tubes significantly increase the pop of the wood core and reduce the weight.
Carbon Stringers - The type and placement of the fiberglass greatly influences the bending and riding characteristics of a board. The boards are constructed with a layer of fibreglass above and below the wooden core.
- Topsheet :
Biax Laminate - The traditional and proven bi-directional fiberglass weave is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board grippy without adding torsional stiffness.
- Sole :
Hyper Glide S - The standard sintered base which is durable and fast is even faster when you keep it waxed.
Flip Flop - Randomly produced sole colours to avoid material waste.
