60 days to change your mindThe Wasabiis a mixed snowboard from the brand Amplid. It is designed to excel in freeriding and is aimed at the advanced rider.
From the Future Shapesfamily, these innovative boards offer a unique riding experience, the Wasabi is the answer to the need for a shorter shape for the lighter/smaller riders! The Wasabi is perfect for use in powdery forests where it is good to slalom. The board has very good buoyancy at depth!
In order to remain poppy and responsive, Amplid has equipped the Wasabi carbon Pop Band, which is a carbon strip integrated into the core that runs across the board from nose to tail. The Wasabi features the lightweight, durable and versatile OMNI Corecore, and the HEXO2 Litetechnology, the insertion of recycled honeycomb paper in the nose, to make it considerably lighter.
Amplid has completed its Wasabi with two major technologies for freeride. Namely, a geometry Jekyll & Hyde to further improve the lift. And thicker tips, Thick Cutwhich absorb more vibration than before, without making the board heavier.
The Wasabi is therefore a perfect board for small sizes, it is extremely playful, you won't get bored!

Cruise Camber (Camber+rocker): the standard camber under the supports completed by the rocker in the nose makes the board even more lively in powder and gives the board the possibility to go everywhere.
Shape The Deuter AirComfort Back System:
Tapered Directional classic shape with a nose twice as long as the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Floatation Tips the square nose increases the flotation of the board in powder.
Jekyll & Hyde Geometry The Deuter AirComfort Back System: Provides maximum contact between the board and the snow to develop as much lift as possible.

Omni Core wooden core with proven strength from years of research by Amplid. Versatile and robust core.
Carbon Pop Band carbon strips running the length of the board through each insert area. Amplifies pop and retains the board's natural flex.
Hexo2 Lite : the spatulas have integrated honeycomb parts for efficient weight saving!
Pre-cured Impact Plates : Core reinforcement at the fastener inserts limits the impact caused by the fasteners.

Biax Fiberlass double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a responsive and forgiving board.
Thick Cut The Deuter AirComfort Back System: The front and rear tips are thicker than the rest of the board. This reduces vibrations and increases stability.
Sole :
Sint 7 base ultra high density sintered sole, very hard and resistant.
