60 days to change your mindThe Unleashed 98 are versatile freeride mens skis from Nordica, for skiers with an advanced to expert level.
New this season from the Italian brand, the Unleashed collection is aimed at budding freeriders, those for whom a day of skiing is only beautiful when they have hardly seen the piste.
A little less wide than its big brother in 108, the Unleashed 98 will be a little more versatile in shallower snow, which doesn't prevent it from loving the powder and the vast terrain of the backcountry! Its 98 mm waist combined with a double rocker allows it to offer a very good lift in powder snow. But this is not their only advantage, these skis have a core made of wood and carbon which gives it an excellent edge hold and therefore a lot of stability at high speed. There is also a metal sheet in the construction of the skis to soften vibrations.
Finally, the classic camber of the Unleashed 98 makes it a very responsive and manoeuvrable ski, so you can zigzag between trees or take on bumps with disconcerting agility.
As you can see, this ski is capable of doing everything, and doing it well - all it needs now is you to put it to the test!

Terrain Specific Metal : By adding a metal plate of the same shape to the inside of the skis, it increases in proportion to the decrease in the last. Thanks to this technology, we have been able to design unique constructions that are better adapted to different terrains. The narrower Santa Ana skis are more powerful and stable on the piste, while the wider construction skis are more enjoyable off-piste and on soft snow.
Avec ses 98 mm au patin, le Unleashed 98 s'est montré idéal pour dévaler les pentes vierges avec de la poudreuse fraîchement déposée.
La conduite est fluide, la maniabilité et la réactivité sont excellentes, le flex du ski est plutôt rigide, ce qui offre un parfait compromis entre stabilité et jouabilité. La portance est optimale, le rocker et les lignes de côtes généreuses jouent très bien leurs rôles.
