This boot is only for expert snowboarders, who ride the most challenging descents 24/7. Indeed, K2 have put their all into the creation of the Thraxis for a breathtaking result!
The Thraxis is on the verge of being too perfect. The very rigid flex of 10/10 allows committed lines where rigour and precision in each of your turns is paramount. The Thraxis is made for demanding riders who are physically committed to their ride.
The precise lacing of the H4 Focus Boa® Fit System holds your foot firmly in place. It allows for a 3 zone adjustment, 2 for the outer shell and one for the attachement located on the inner boot. This system ensures a smooth and fine board. The Thraxis is a great ally for your freeride equipment.
The Vibram® quality of the soles brings the perfect grip during your approach walks and allows an excellent feel of your board. Despite the boot's definite rigidity, the high level of comfort is ensured by the Intuition® Pro 3D Foam Liner with Space Heater.
TheEndo™ 2.0 construction enhances the performance of this boot, especially in freeride, by integrating new materials to obtain a more constant flex and a great durability. K2 is also thinking about its carbon footprint by choosing to incorporate a mesh S'Cafe Coffee which is made from 95% recycled materials.

Technology:
- Flex Zone Upper with HDR Premium Synthetics : A small flexible notch in the instep of the boot allows for smooth forward flex with minimal shell distortion.
- Endo™ 2.0 Construction : A construction method that allows the flex, response and bounce of boots to be changed without adding materials but by modifying them. This results in boots that are more durable and have a more consistent flex.
- Reinforced Rubber : Highly abrasion resistant rubber is placed in the most impacted areas for durability.
- Intuition® SpaceHeater™ & Pro Foam 3D : A fusion of a reflective heat blanket to keep the heat in but the cold out and internal and external J-Bars to effectively support your ankle.
- S'Cafe Coffee Mesh : Made from 95% recycled materials, this mesh combines recycled coffee with recycled polyester. It greatly reduces odour and perspiration.
- Boa® Conda™ Liner Lacing: A heel retention system powered by BOA® Fit System designed to gently tighten the rider's ankle and eliminate heel lift.
- Boa® M3 Focus Fit System: Impact-resistant, durable and performance-oriented, the BOA® H4 ejects in the event of severe impact and is easily reinserted into the shoe. The dial controls the lacing of the upper shell, while the second dial controls the lacing of the lower shell.
- 3D Formed Dual Density EVA Footbed: an insole designed with two densities of EVA to support your foot to reduce snowboarder fatigue.
- Vibram® V5 Outsole w. Harshmellow™: Ultra-durable EcoStep rubber (30% regrind), reinforced with Harshmellow™ parts under the heel and toe to reduce noise as well as vibration.
