Tapered Directional : classic shape with a nose twice as long as the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Floatation Tips : The square nose increases the floatation of the board in powder.
