It is extremely light! Smith Smith combines all the best technologies for its new Summit Mips helmet. At first glance, the design is minimalist and sober, but it conceals a number of details designed specifically for mountaineering.
Since lightness should not affect safety, Summit Mips complies with international standards for alpine skiing, ski touring and mountaineering. It adopts several technologies for optimum protection. The MIPS® system allows the helmets outer shell to slide relative to the head as it hits the ground, thus protecting the brain, the Koroyd® absorbs the energy of the impact, while being very light.
