No subject to promotional offers Burton's Story Board is a versatile board that allows you to ride in all snow conditions.
On piste and hard snow, its rigid flex (8/10), and the Triax with carbon I-beam gives it a particularly aggressive character so your carves will make your hips brush the snow. Squeezebox technology improves power transfer for the most incisive edge changes.
But that's not where it ends, though. Its preferred domaine is the fresh POW. On days when the conditions are right, you'll be able to draw big freeride lines and send your best powslashes all day long. As a result, the Story board holds a traditional camber with an entry rocker. Its tapered 10mm directional shape increases float and stability.
The freestyle-inspired Balanced Freeride geometry technology provides a ride feel meaning it's comfortable in the air, without altering carve and float performance.

Shape - Directional (10mm taper): classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for excellent float on unpacked snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the tip is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Flex - 8/10 - Directional: stiff flex, increased pop through the tail and a slightly more supple nose for better control.
Carbon - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox : highly resistant light wooden core. Wood from sustainably managed forests! Dualzone™ EGD™ is a type of core construction which involves positioning wood fibres on the bindings and middle of the board perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around the binding inserts and between bindings to improve power transfer.
Fiberglass - Women's Specific Triax™ with Carbon I-Beam™ : uses layers of carbon and fibre to create a more aggressive feel in torsional flex.
Base - Sintered WFO: this base, made with recycled materials, has ultra-absorbent properties when waxed. Sintered finish and enhanced durability.

The Burton Story Board is an excellent all-round board for advanced to expert riders. It fits very well in everyday snowboarding choices. The classic camber allows you to carve and enjoy a whole day on the piste when conditions might not be perfect. Inspired by freestyle, the Story boardis not to be outdone when it comes to jumping, whether on the edge of the piste or in the park. Its behaviour in powder is playful and quickly gives you confidence. We can only recommend the Story board for riders of a good level who are looking for an excellent everyday board that is different from the Feelgood.
Advantages: extreme versatility, classic camber and playability.
Disadvantages: you'll struggle to find any!
