No subject to promotional offersThe Spring Break Powder Twin 2023 from Capita is a freeride board for advanced boarders.
The Spring Break range from Capita has been very successful in recent years, as a very surfy style powder snowboard range. Each board from the Spring Break range was designed to be easy to handle and hover above the powder. And the Powder Twin is a good example. Similar to the Ultralight Powder Displacement Snowcraft boards, the Powder Twin is shaped like a park board with a fat frame to float in powder.
The Surf Rocker Twin Profile, as the name suggests, is inspired by the shape of a surfboard. The Surf Rock on the nose and tail are long and progressive and change to a flat camber just before the inserts, so the board is super comfortable in powder and still very stable. Underfoot, the camber is slightly positive for a "poppy" effect and good edge grip.
As far as construction is concerned, the Powder Twin features a P2 Superlight Core. This poplar and paulownia core is ultra light, powerful and durable. Along the board are two long strips of Carbone that energise the board, absorb vibrations and bring even more pop to the board.
The Powder Twin will put a smile on the face of snowboarders looking to do tricks in powder, without breaking the bank!

Camber:
Surf Rocker Twin Profile: combining standard, flat and inversed camber. Positive camber between presses for grip and support. Flat camber outside of the presses for stability on the nose. Reverse camber (rocker) for tolerance and easier turning. This new camber provides the pop and responsiveness of a standard camber board, with the handling and tolerance of a flat or reverse camber board.
Shape:
Blended radial/True Twin : Symmetrical board in terms of dimensions and flex. Ideal for freestyle riding and jibbing. A Blended Radial sidecut offers a different turn radius between the centre of the board and the contact zones, suitable for certain aspects of riding.

PowderDrive Base: dynamic and durable base, easy to look after. Includes the features of a sintered base and an extruded base. Designed for the SpringBreak range with the aim of being the highest performing board possible in powder.

La Powder Twin s'inscrit très bien dans cette démarche. C'est la board la plus polyvalente de la gamme. En poudreuse, les deux longs et progressifs rocker font le taff. Elle se comporte forcément moins bien que les autres board de la gamme Spring Break due au shape twin non directionnel mais globalement avec une largeur pareil c’est assez facile à gérer.
En contrepartie, les sensations sur neige un peu plus dure sont nettement meilleures que le reste, le cambre fait le taff et apporte un peu plus d'accroche et de stabilité.
En freestyle la board se montre plutôt joueuse. La board pardonne pas mal grâce aux longs rockers et le shape super large en fait une board très facile a surfer.
