The Solis is a new men's touring ski by Black Crows.
This new design by Black Crows has been put together with a very specific audience in mind: those on the hunt for the steepest slopes!
The Solis's homogeneous flex throughout, fairly stiff, light tip and tail and double progressive front rocker result in a pivot that is particularly well-suited to rugged crossings. This construction also aims to avoid oversteer on steep slopes and provides appropriate support to skiers wearing heavy backpacks.
The Solis's 25m radius results in good grip on packed snow, particularly on a steep slow, and the light camber is the perfect balance between stability and manoeuvrability.
The 100mm waist will of course provide the required float in deep snow and the construction will ensure manoeuvrability on steep slopes where the snow can easily become crusted and therefore require a skilled approach.
The Solis also has minimalist clips for skins.
If you're looking for a technical ski with the full range of features to support you on the most rugged slopes, your search is over. The Solis has been designed with you in mind!
