The Sir Francis Bacon is a men's ski by Line.
Maintaining their freeride and freestyle backcountry style, they also feature a stunning design by Eric Pollard.
The Sir Francis Bacon skis are a pretty versatile pair of freeride skis designed for advanced skiers, which have held their own for over 10 years now. They are also high-performing in backcountry conditions thanks to their Symmetric Flex which is just as easy to use in switch and regular skiing.
Its wooden core and Partly Cloudy construction offer robustness for stability in all types of snow. Tip/ tail Rockers offer good handling and excellent take-off abilities. With a pretty short turn radius of 16m and 5Cut technology by Line, they are speedy and ensure great grip on all ground. The lightness and well-measured flex of the skis make turning very easy indeed.
With its waist of 107mm, don't doubt its efficiency in heavy snow, it floats on the snow. Line's latest Convex Base technology has been added to the model to strengthen its go everywhere reputation. Whether in tight turns, edging, low rotations, switch or regular, the transition has never been so easy.
The Sir Francis Bacon from Line is therefore an ultra versatile ski that will fully express itself when you go off the beaten track!

Early Rise: The rise of the tip and tail starts sooner when the ski's profile moves away from the centre, making turning easier and helping to keep the skis steady. It also means effortless float in softer snow!

Thin Tip:
The core has been lightened and the edges thinned out.
Symmetrical Flex :
An identical Flex at the front and back of the bindings for equivalent performance for switch as for regular skiing.

Convex Base :
