Aimed at intermediate riders, the Shadowban is an ultra-versatile board that offers plenty of scope for progress to anyone who wants to improve their technique on a wide variety of terrain. From piste to snowpark to powder, this board does it all, and does it well!
In terms of shape, you'll find a twin directional profile that makes it easy to ride switch and offers maximum freestyle possibilities. The Shadowban has a big rocker in the spatula and inserts set back to make it very manoeuvrable in powder. But that's not all, the classic camber is there to give it grip on the piste and will delight you if you're a carving enthusiast.
The Shadowban also has an aspen core with bamboo and palauwnia reinforcements, making it a lightweight board with plenty of character. In addition, inserts Carbon Array 3 and Carbon Slimewalls inserts all around the bindings for pinpoint precision and power when tensioning the board. On the exit of turns, you are catapulted towards the next turn but always keeping control of the board.
Finally, the Shadowban has Double Impact Plates from Ridewhich dampen the impact of hard landings and smooth out irregularities in the snow by absorbing vibrations.

Directionnal Twin Standard Camber : A directional twin shape with a hybrid profile that has more camber than rocker.
Quadratic Sidecut a clever blend of 3 different curve radii for easy curve entry and exit. The Quadratic Sidecut is adapted to the shape and size of the board, of course!
Construction:
Performance™ Core : It is a very strong aspen core, combined with bamboo for its flex and paulownia for its light weight. A perfect blend of strength and lightness.
Double Impact Plates : 2 reinforcement plates superimposed and placed under each of the binding zones. Improves resistance when compressed and reduces the risk of breaking.
Pre-Cured Glass: Glass fibers prepared in the USA to have the best possible resin/glass ratio, in order to obtain a constant flex and stability throughout the board. It's the highest performing finish.
Sole: Sintered in Ptex 4000, which is more durable, dense, and resistant than an extruded base.
Technologies:
Slimewalls® : RIDE's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impact rather than defending against it. Just like your skateboard wheels, Slimewalls® urethane smoothes out the interaction with snow, wood or metal surfaces you may be riding on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Roll In Construction : 3D construction around the Slimewall edges for greater rigidity, to prevent the torch from disintegrating and reduce the overall weight of the board.
Carbon Array 3 : This energy distribution technology offers total control of the board at every position. The wide carbon beams in the attachment area collect data from any support width and any pressure angle. The rider's input is then channelled to the opposite contact point for maximum control of the board. Available in two technology levels, 3 and 5.
