Advice : Use the foot sizer from SIDAS to help you find the right size
These have to be the most versatile boots in the Burton range. The all-mountain men's Ruler boots are THE safe bet for any intermediate to advanced level riders and will even work well for the most nervous of beginners. If you choose Burton Ruler boots you'll get pure snowboarding joy everywhere you go.
The Imprint 2 liner offers guaranteed comfort. The Total Comfort construction adapts to your shape from the very first ride. There'll be no unpleasant pinch points to hinder your progress. The Ruler boots perform in a similar way to the Burton Ions but are much more affordable. There's no compromise on the quality of the ride though.
The Speed Zone system lacing means you can fine tune how tight the upper and lower section of the boots independently. The Ruler protects from the cold, is shock absorbent and will generally be your greatest ally wherever your adventures take you: backcountry, snowpark, black run, off-piste - you'll do it all full throttle!

Flex: 6/10, medium flex.
PowerUp tongue with 1:1 medium flex, dual density, durable tongue for boot rebound. Flex slots that minimise shell distortion on the shoe so the flex is softer and smoother from heel to toe.The GripLITE grip-enhancing backstay increases connection with the hi-back. Wishbone reinforcements: additional middle and side cables creating more rebound in the shoe and ensuring the boots last longer.
Level: Intermediate to advanced.

Comfort:
Total Comfort Construction: Best possible feel from the very first use. The Total Comfort design leaves out the process of moulding the foot to the liner, favouring instead a liner that adapts to your body directly.
Snow proof internal gusset: the lower zone of the boot is completely sealed off from the snow, keeping feet warm and dry all day.
Insole: EVA molded level 1 insole for lightweight and long-lasting shock absorption.
Outsole:
EST optimised thin midsole: midsole developed to even better adapt to the EST bindings so that connection and information transfer is even quicker. Not only does the midsole reduce the overall weight of the shoe, but also shifts your centre of gravity and enhances the feel.
Sizing tip: We recommend that you order a size up from your usual size.
The Burton Rulers in a nutshell? Simple and efficient. The efficient, all-purpose flex makes it easy for all types of snow. The boots are not too demanding, which makes it easy to have fun without giving all your strength to the snowboard.
The grip placed on the back of the boot increases contact with the binding for better reactivity. The big strength of the Burton Ruler is the price/performanceratio.
