Reactor 18 Airbag Grey Red

The Reactor 18 is an airbag backpack from Arva.

The Airbag backpack has become a full-fledged safety accessory for off-piste skiers and Arva is now offering a compact and lightweight system that optimises its volume and comfort.

The Reactor 18 is ideal for freeriding or free ski-touring. For this season, Arva is offering an Airbag bag that benefits from Reactor technology. This bag has been developed to prioritise the three following criteria: weight, practicality and comfort for a high-performance system. 
Its carrying system and use of accessories make it an all-round bag that gives you the reassurance of airbags without compromising on compactness or weight.

The Reactor 18 is a high-tech backpack, ideal for freeride. As well as being compact, the bag is relatively lightweight, so you'll forget you're wearing it when skiing off-piste.
This bag has the perfect volume  to store all your gear for a day of skiing, and is also fitted with lightweight and extremely reliable technology!

The REACTOR System:

Fitted with a 150L double airbag (2×75 L) plus. a double inflation system, the REACTOR prioritises safety and reliability. The shape and positioning of the airbags are designed to maximise upward motion during an avalanche. 
The inflation system is designed to offer a compact and lightweight product (680g), while optimising performance in real life situations. All of these innovations have been the subject of 3 patent applications. The REACTOR system can be detached from the backpack and transferred to another REACTOR compatible bag.


Please note that this backpack is fitted with the Reactor system, but the trigger cartridge (gas bottle) is sold separately.
