The QST 106 are unisex freeride skis from Salomon.
Revamped this year, the shape has been reworked while retaining the classic QST reinforcement for power and stability.
With its 106 mm waist, its under the foot camber and its two rockers, it is a model that has been designed for powder but that is also very comfortable on groomed slopes. Designed for the most demanding skiers who will love the QST 106 thanks to its easy off-piste control and its beautiful turns on the piste.
To give you better stability, there are Cork Amplifier inserts on the tip to absorb vibrations as well as a poplar core and a C/FX carbon layer. Thus, you will have a ski with optimal cushioning for more comfort on hard snow, while maintaining the power of the ski thanks to the titanal reinforcements.
The sandwich construction of the QST 106 gives it excellent ski/snow contact and maximum precision. In addition, the fibre reinforcement on the edges ensures greater resistance and lifespan for the ski. Finally, the shape allows for easy turns and an optimal edge change on the track.
If you want an efficient and versatile freeride ski, the QST 106 is for you!

TECHNOLOGIES:
- Optimal edge reinforcement: For greater durability.
- All-terrain rocker: Adds an extra dose of versatility and control for All-Mountain skiing.
- Cork Damplifier: Cork tip insert, absorbs three times better than Koroyd. High level of vibration absorption and cushioning while becoming lighter.
- Reinforced Ti binding : Titanal edge to edge insert underfoot that runs the full length of the ski , for optimal power and better grip on hard snow.
- C/FX: This technology consists of a single layer of fibres, made up of carbon and linen woven together, that runs along the length of the ski. It combines the incredible strength, stability and lightness of carbon fibre with the superior cushioning and vibration absorption properties of flax. Exclusive technology patented by Salomon.
The QST 106 is a real versatile freeride ski. Designed for powder, this ski is a delight off-piste thanks to its manoeuvrability and tendency to float as soon as the snow gets deep. With this ski, you'll be able to hit the powder or enjoy calmer outings.
Even though it's not designed for the piste, its behaviour on it is very reliable, and transitions between two off-piste runs are worry-free.
Pros: lift, bump absorption, all-purpose, manoeuvrability
