The Punx Five are freestyle skis from Atomic.
Designed for the future winners of the X-Games, the Punx range has been created to perform in the air! The Punx Five is the more flexible and accessible version of the Punx Seven. Light and easy to handle, it is ideal for those who train hard for their tricks. Very robust, it is practically indestructible!
Created to jib and have fun, this ski is really fun and will allow you to work your creativity in the air without having to twist in all directions to activate the pop of the ski. A great ski to butter, nosepress and other jib tricks.
The Punx Five has a 15/70/15 shape (15% front rocker / 70% camber / 15% back rocker) that offers good contact with the snow to be comfortable in powder and get a responsive and maneuverable ski.
Its Light Woodcore and Densolite Core provide lighter weight and better shock absorption respectively, to send rotations in a relaxed way, while lightening the ski to be comfortable as soon as you take a jump.
Its Resist Edge edges provide greater durability on the rails and the Dura Cap construction protects the ski edges from frequent impact.
The Punx Five is the perfect ski for freestylers who want to progress and have fun in the snowpark!

Pro freestylers will find it lacking in pop and nervousness but the vast majority will find it pleasant and easy to handle. It behaves well as a switch and is well balanced on the rails. We liked its reinforced edges and its cap construction to ensure a good longevity. Its construction also ensures good landings.
Advantages:solid, fun, accessible.
Disadvantages: lack of pop for expert skiers
