Description

Intermediate and advanced riders, get ready to take off with the Process Flying V 2024 from Burton. The Flying V® is an adaptation of the Process range and promises to take your breath away. Originally designed for freestyle, the Process Flying V now offers more versatility in powder snow.

The Flying V™ hybrid camber improves float in powder and makes the Process Flying V easier to control than a traditional camber board. The Flying V™ is also more forgiving on spin landings. The Super Fly II™ 700G Core makes this board lighter, while the Process Flying V integrates all the essential technology you need to set off without hesitation.

If impressing everyone at the resort is what you're after, along with a well-balanced ride, then you're sure to love the perfectly symmetrical twin shape and its (3/10) soft flex that is perfectly distributed from the nose to tail of the Process Flying V. No snags on the bar thanks to the Scoop nose and tail! On hard snow the Flying Vwont grip as hard as its Pure Pop camber counterpart.

The Burton Process Flying V will suit intermediate and advanced snowboarders who want to have fun in powder as well as at the snow park.

Flex: Twin: The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail for a balanced and versatile ride in a classic or switch style.

Sidecuts
: 290.1-249-290.1 for the 152cm size

Turn radius:
7.70m for the 152cm size

Camber:

Flying V™ : A mix of classic camber and rocker parts, the Flying V™ offers powder flotation and maneuverability while the underfoot camber provides edge control and pop to the board. The Flying V™ reduces edge faults and makes turning easier.

Shape:

Twin: The Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that allows you to turn and lean with exceptional stability, whether you are riding regular or switch.

Materials/Technologies:

Core- FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox: the Super Fly II 700G core features lighter and stronger wood types to provide a high level of reactivity and strength, while reducing the overall weight. The Dualzone EGD engineered woodgrain is placed along the heel and toe edges on two continuous zones that are perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives a more coherent edge hold and reinforced reactivity.

Fiberglass Triax™: Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and responsivity for all types of riding, from smooth to intense.

Base
 - Sintered : The solid, ultra-porous sintered base offers increased durability and increased wax absorption for an improved gliding feel.

The Channel® : The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with major brands' bindings.

Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better grip.

Scoop: exaggerated spoon shaped nose and tail which is more forgiving on landings and on boxes.

Pro-Tip™
: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for a lighter weight and improved handling.

Infinite Ride™
: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, bounce and behaviour throughout its lifespan.

Epoxy Super Sap® : The Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.

Team review

The Process Flying V is playful and receptive and offers excellent performance.

The Process Flying V is the little sister of the Custom Flying V. Very versatile and tolerant, it has a very receptive flex. The Flying V™ makes the board easy to handle in powder but reduces grip on difficult terrain or icy snow. It's very well balanced with a Twin shape for tricks.

Advantages: accessibility and float in powder.

Disadvantages: less grip than with a classic camber
