60 days to change your mindThe men's Burton Photon Boa® are All-Mountain freeride boots suited to riders looking for a precise shoe for any conditions that doesn't compromise on comfort.
The Photon Boa® has a complete high-performance lacing system which provides optimum support across the whole foot in the inner-boot. The Photon Boa® enables you to switch from edge to edge, leaving no space for incertitude.
The improved Boa® system lacing technology applies to three independent foot zones: upper, lower and Achilles tendon, for targeted adjustment. The foot remains reliably secured throughout the boot. The Photon Boa® becomes one with your foot for instant reactivity.
The Photon Boa® is designed for all-mountain freeride and provides you with flex stiffness, for aggressive and fast rides. If you're looking to send it on drop cliff ledges then the ReBounce cushioning will supply you with impact protection thanks to its polyurethane foam.
The Vibram® Ecostep™ soles will keep you sure-footed so you'll be ready for all adventure. Which is handy when you want to get to the fresh snow!

Flex - 6/10:
- The PowerUp Firm Flex 1:1 tongue creates a perfect fit between the boots and tongue, eliminating the need to readjust while riding.
- The GripLITE rear reinforcement ensures perfect fit between the boots and rear support for direct energy transfer and reduced rider fatigue.
Liner :
- Focus cuff increases heel support by hugging the ankle, for slightly higher and more responsive riding.
- The thermoformable Imprint 3 liners have a hook-and-loop closure system with an inner lace lock for a snug fit and lightweight power panels for added response
- The isothermal Sleeping Bag technology underfoot reflects heat back to the foot, improving warmth and comfort in cold conditions.
Cushioning:
-The B3 gel padding provides maximum cushioning, does not harden at low temperatures, and withstands repeated impacts without breaking down.
Lacing:
The Dual-Zone BOA® adjustment system with Coiler™ and Lockdown technologies consists of 2 lace zones that can be adjusted independently by twisting the dial for a custom fit on both the upper and lower parts of the boot.
Comfort :
- The Total Comfort construction offers a feeling of familiarity from day one, eliminating the break-in period.
- Inner snow gusset completely seals the lower boot area to keep your feet warm and dry.
Sole:
- The Vibram traction outsole with EcoStep™ rubber offers an increased surface area for more contact points to grip the ground, all within a lighter weight and made from only 30% recycled rubber.
- The EST® optimised mid-sole lowers your sense of gravity and improves board feel without sacrificing on comfort.
- The Footbed Reduction Technology reduces the boots overall footprint which minimises toe drag.
