Discover Burton's Paramount pure freestyle men's board for advanced level riders. A deserving heir to the Parkitect, the Paramount is an accurate and versatile park board to add to Burton's freestyle range .
The Paramount sits somewhere between the Process and the Free Thinker and has perfectly proportioned pop (5/10). So you've got everything you need to make a lively kicker jump exit and enough flexibility for jib and rails.
The typical camber makes the Paramountan accurate snowboard and the twin shape retains that accuracy whether you ride switch or normal. You'll never mess up a cab again - promise!
Because the Paramount is quite a powerful board you can drive the edges hard with Frostbite Edge technology. The Super Fly II 700G Core core's typical camber will never fail in its role supporting the bindings.
To all freestyle addicts! The Burton Paramount is patiently waiting for you at Snowleader!

Cambre - An advocate of powerful, precise turns. This high grip camber with dynamic pop distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control.
Shape - Twin: perfectly symmetrical shape to provide better balance whether you're riding normal or switch. Brings natural balance and stability to your rotations, butters and jibs.
Flex- 5/10 - Twin: symmetrical, playful medium flex from tip to tail for a balanced ride whether you're riding normal or switch.
Carbon - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox : highly resistant light wooden core. Wood from sustainably managed forests! Dualzone™ EGD™ is a type of core construction which involves positioning wood fibres on the bindings and middle of the board perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around the binding inserts and between bindings to improve power transfer.
Fiberglass - Biax™: Versatile flex and response in every scenario.
Base - Sintered WFO : this base has ultra-absorbent properties when waxed. Sintered finish and increased durability.
Technology:
- The Channel® : Burton's own mounting system which makes it quick and easy to change stance and binding angles.
- Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge hold.
- Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board to increase weight and improve handling.
- Infinite Ride™: technology that ensures that the snowboard retains the same flex, pop and energy it had the first time you used it.
- Epoxy Super Sap® Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduce the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.
The Paramount proves to be a good powerful freestyle board. For the park's fine technicians, the Paramount provides a precise and pop-tonic ride. The Paramount is easy to use and without a real sticky jib, it's a real eye-catcher!
The Paramount is agile in the air and provides good stability. More orientated owards jumping than jibbing, the landings need to be precise but are easily done if you're gentle. Whether you're experienced in freestyle or you want to get into it, Paramount provides great opportunities for you to learn new tricks.
Advantages : stability, grip and pop
