Its featherweight (1030g per shoe) and enormous travel allow you to walk easily and naturally uphill, greatly increasing your performance. On the downhill side, its construction, which combines Grimalid® with fibreglass, provides a progressive flex that's still stiff enough to ski harder than you'd expect from such a lightweight boot.

In terms of practicality, its Ultra Lock 5.0 locking system for switching from ascent mode to ski mode is quick and easy to use, even when wearing gloves. It ensures a dual function as it enables tightening of the collar as soon as you switch to ski mode. In short, no more adjustments need to be made when removing the skins, which saves you a lot of time and prevents you from getting cold at the top.

The Low Tech TLT Xalso features Master Step inserts that make it even easier to fit the bindings. The original front of the shoe without overhang allows you to move back the point of rotation which eases walking up mountain ascents.
