Primaloft synthetic insulation is spread out in order to cover all the necessary areas: additional material on the shoulders and chest keeps you warm, while the insulation is lighter on the back and sleeves to allow optimal release of internal moisture while active. The hood and bottom of the garment under the snow skirt do not have insulation which increases lightness. 

The snow skirt, sleeves and adjustable cuffs prevent any snow from entering, the insulated collar provides comfort and protection, and the many zipped pockets keep your small items safe. The zipped underarm vents allow for ideal air circulation during high-intensity efforts.
