Description

The Jester 16 nthracite/Black is a freestyle and freeride ski binding from the East brand. Marker.

It has been designed for freeride and freestyle riders looking for high performance. Integrated technology Sole.IDtechnology, the binding adapts to Standard Alpine (ISO 5355) or Hiking (ISO 9523) boots. What's more, it's designed for expert levelskiers, and is extremely robust and rigid thanks to the tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use.

Another strong point of this model: the presence of magnesium makes it more robust while remaining lightweight.

The secret is the height-adjustable sliding plate; easy to use, it obviously offers uncompromising performance. Sole.ID complies with standards ISO 5355 (Alpine skiing boots) and ISO 9523 (boots with ski touring soles).
AFD PLATE	All Marker bindings are fitted with a AFD (anti friction device) binding and guarantee the highest precision Trigger, virtually unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it may be competitive runs, children's activities or ski touring.
TRIPLE PIVOT ELITE TOE	This front jaw design, with DIN/ISO up to Z 18, guarantees exceptional retention force in freeride. The front jaw spring is placed in an oblique position, and the 5° inclined sole support ensures the highest level of energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. A large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and allows the implementation of the highest forces. The jaws with this technology reach levels of performance never equaled, relative to their weight.
INTER PIVOT 3 HEEL	The third and more modern generation has been completely redesigned: improved power transmission, energy absorption and vertical elasticity of the heel, all combined with increased comfort.
