The all-mountain freeride Ion ensure instant responsiveness thanks to their rigid flex, which is perfect for charging and precision when backcountry riding. The EST® midsole provides you with a thinner sole for more lightness, and particularly improves board feel while lowering your centre of gravity.
The ultra-lightweight Life liners combined with Total Comfort construction are extremely comfortable from the very first day on the slopes. And because comfort is also about warmth, the Ion features Sleeping Bag thermal insulation and DRYRIDE Heat Cycle® lining. Handy when you need to walk through the snow to get to the starting point you'd planned!

Lacing:
- The Speed Zone lacing system allows for very quick lacing control and customised adjustment of the upper and lower sections in seconds.
- New England Ropes use US-made fibers that are virtually indestructible, non-twisting, and easy to re-lace.
Flex and Responsiveness:
- The welded rear reinforcement improves support and durability
- The PowerUp Firm Flex 1:1 tongue creates ideal fit between the boot and the tongue, eliminating the need to readjust while riding.
Cushioning:
- The Sleeping Bag isothermal technology underfoot reflects heat back to the foot, improving warmth and comfort in cold conditions.
- TheAutoCANT cushioning features dual density EVA that allows your foot to settle into a more natural and relaxed position for increased comfort, reduced fatigue and more direct snowboard control
- The ReBounce is innovative by its close-to-the-foot position, inside the shell of the boot, for extra protection from impacts directly underfoot.
Liner:
-Tuff Cuff Lite increases heel support and hugs the ankle, providing medial and lateral support. It also allows for free flexion from heel to toe.
-The thermoforming Life Liner features lightweight materials to provide premium performance and a relaxed feel. They also have a responsive PU tongue, for a combination of speed and wear resistance which is perfect for long seasons of intense riding.
- The DRYRIDE Heat Cycle lining captures, radiates and reflects body heat inward to keep your feet warm while wicking away heat-disturbing moisture.
- The Ultra-Performance Foam® offers excellent thermoforming capability, adapting the boot lining to the shape of your foot.
