Description

The men's Indoor Survival is a freestyle/all-mountain snowboard from Capita.

The 2023 range is based on the technologies that made the board so successful last year. Without a doubt, the most important one is the P2 Superlight core, which is ultra light, very cushioned and with a huge amount of pop to give you an impressive spin speed and a board that doesn't bash your legs on every landing.

Secondly, the Indoor Survival 2023 is equipped with a Titanal Centerline Booster, a titanium insert that runs the length of the board and stabilizes the board and increases the damping. This means you can hit the slopes at top speed without losing control of the board or feeling any unwanted vibrations.

Finally, a new thickness of triaxial fiberglass and Magic Bean resin gives the snow a more incisiveand aggressive behaviour. We find the Park V1 Profil camber , the Twin Directionnal Shape and the flex 5 twin of the previous model, but why would we want to change them? They allow theIndoor Survival to carve like never before, to have excellent pop, to be unbeatable in the park and to remain versatile.

The QuantumDrive base is also retained and provides an ultra smooth glide.

Camber:

Park V1 Profile (camber : standard camber available along the entire length of the sidecut. No rockers interfere with the edges. The short Zero Camber Zone offers increased control while maintaining the responsiveness and power of a standard camber board.

Shape:

Radial/ True Twin: Symmetrical board in terms of dimensions and flex. Ideal for freestyle riding and jibbing. A so-called radial sidecut allows the board to start and finish its turn on the same curve.

Team review

La nouvelle Indoor Survival est une planche encore plus efficace que le modèle précédent. Avec un poids réduit et un topsheet affiné, on pourrait attendre une planche certes plus maniable mais moins expressive... C'est tout le contraire, l'Indoor Survival 2023 est plus incisive que jamais et vous permettra d'exprimer votre meilleur snowboard et d'envoyer vos plus grosses rotations.

Le flex de 5/10 et l'énorme amorti permet de d'envoyer du gros tout au long de la journée sans se détruire les jambes.

Les Plus : carve, accroche et pop.

Les Moins : hors-piste.
