Designed in collaboration with the famous snowboarder Sam Taxwoodthe Hi-Country & Hell-Bound will satisfy riders who want to progress with style on all terrains!
Several technologies will allow you to fine-tune the stiffness you want in your boots. First of all, two Flex Control reinforcement bars are removable in the tongue of the boot. Leave the two reinforcements and you have a rigid tongue. Keep the bar outside and you have side support. Leave the inner bar in place and you get some bounce. Or remove both reinforcements to gain more flex.
Very comfortable, the Hi-Country is equipped with an Ultra Cush lining and a Pop Cush footbed, which make the shoe more comfortable to wear but also offer a very good level of support and freedom of movement. Flash Dry technology allows the shoe to dry faster to keep your feet dry in all conditions.
With its waterproof zip and strap, it ensures a quick and easy fit. The classic lace-up design provides the perfect balance of flexibility and support and the outsole Ultimate Waffle V3 provides the necessary cushioning for landings.

Vans Flex Control System - Removable, high rebound Hytrel® tongue stiffeners allow riders to customize their flex. Slip them both on for maximum support, use one to provide increased lateral or medial response or leave them off for a softer boot. As the boots soften over the course of a season, you can add tongue stiffeners to extend the life of your boots.
