Description

The Griffon 13 ID are freeride ski bindings from Marker.

Marker thinks of everybody, so thanks to the Griffon 13 ID, lighter riders can have access to a high end binding too. The Jester 16's younger sibling, it has the same concepts and remarkable design from the German brand.

Integrating the very practical Sole.ID technology, the bindingis compatible with alpine standard (ISO 5355) or touring standard (ISO 9523) ski boots. Aimed at advanced to expert skiers, the Griffon 13 ID is proving to be very sturdy thanks to the tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use. Combined with its short, compact design, the Griffon 13 ID performs very well when turning.

As with all the brand's bindings, the AFD (Anti Friction Device technology ensures reliable and accurate release. In addition, the front and rear jaws provide good shock absorption, to avoid an early release and promote an ideal power transmission.

It remains one of the best bindings in its category in terms of quality, price and performance.

Recommended for skis wider than 76mm.

Technologies:
- Gliding AFD: All Marker bindings are equipped with a mobile AFD (Anti Friction Device which guarantees the highest precision release that is virtually unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! An adjustment of the AFD according to the types of use ensures perfect functionality - whether it is for competitions, activities for children or ski touring.

- AFD Stainless Steel: All Marker bindings has an AFD (anti friction device) that guarantees reliable and accurate release of the highest precision, practically unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it may be competitive runs, children's activities or ski touring.

-Triple Pivot Elite 3: this concept of front jaw, with a DIN / ISO up to Z 18, guarantees an exceptional retention force if you freeride. The front jaw spring is placed in an oblique position, and the 5° inclined sole support ensures the highest level of energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. A large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and allows the implementation of the highest forces. The jaws with this technology reach levels of performance never equaled, relative to their weight.

- Inter-pivot 3 Heel cup: the Inter-pivot 3 heel cup offers longer elastic travel, absorbs uneven terrain and improves power transmission. This binding allows you to really engage without having to deal with unexpected triggers.

Anti-glare rail:
Use the metal accessory to scrape ice and snow from the sole of your ski boot.

- Sole.ID:
No matter your boot, all of the Sole ID bindings from Marker are compatible with any kind of ski boots. Whether you prefer alpine ski boots or ski touring boots, with Sole.ID you can adjust the binding in a few seconds. The secret is the height-adjustable sliding plate; easy to use, it obviously offers uncompromising performance. Sole.ID conforms to the alpine standard ISO 5355 and touring standard ISO 9523.
