Description

Here's one that lives up to its name. The Fun.Kinkis a freestyle all-mountain board from Bataleonthat will make your sessions even more fun.

With the Fun.Kink, all your runs are transformed, as well as your way of riding the mountain. As soon as you start your descent on the piste, every little bend in the ground becomes a good reason to do a 180°, a 360°... The pop boosted by the D.S.Tinserts means you can jump for the stars whenever you want. And on the landing, there's no difficulty in absorbing the impact thanks to the wooden core.
Whatever the quality of the snow, the Fun.Kink steers very well and offers real power steering thanks to the latest technology Sidekick. Placement is impeccable and the curves flow between the different modules in the park, while its shape Twin 3BT can be driven in both normal and switch modes, offering even more horizons to explore.
Its medium camber and 2 rockers make it an accessible board for intermediate snowboarders. But the wide range of performance also makes it a perfect board for more experienced riders who want the perfect tool for trying out new tricks.

The Fun.Kink is ideal for intermediate to advanced riders who want to progress.

- Cambre:

Medium Camber: Standard camber slightly revised. Provides a good grip in hard snow, but easily forgives tricky landings and small edge faults.

- Flex:
4/10: Medium flex. A board that absorbs the unevenness of the terrain while remaining rigid enough to handle speed and grip on hard snow.

- Rockers:
Medium Uplift (Tail&Nose) - Symmetrical front and rear rockers for a balanced ride in both normal and switch conditions. Moderately raised to allow a good mix between manoeuvrability, grip and flotation.

- Shape:
Directional Twin: Directional twin shaft with a nose longer than the tail. Gives these boards a remarkable versatility between freestyle and freeride. Centre and side parts equivalent in size for a balanced ride.
Sidekick: Edges raised at widest points of nose and tail. Allows for smoother curves, increases powder flotation and holds up in difficult snow conditions. You have to ride it to believe it!

- Core:
Core Core: Complete poplar with hard beech stringers to strengthen the backbone of the boards, reinforce the inserts and increase the pop.
Tapered Tip/Tail:  2 carbon tubes placed as reinforcement in the core. Drastically increases board pop and camber grip.

- Topsheet:
Bi-Ax Lamination: Bi-directional fibreglass weave adds liveliness to the board without adding torsional rigidity.

- Base:
Hyperglide S: Standard sintered sole, hard and fast, waxed to improve glide.

- Sidewalls:
Shock Walls:
urethane sidewalls for a smoother glide and good impact resistance.

- 3BT (Triple Base Technology):
Concept patented by the brand, consisting of a shape based on a working snowboard. Flat central part with a progressive raising of the edges in tip and tail. As a result, you'll be able to track straight ahead without having to worry about the edges catching. On the start of a turn, the board lifts up, providing constant pressure along the edge. On the edge, the arch shape offers an unequalled hold. This shape offers a number of advantages, such as better flotation, less risk of digging your edges into the snow on landings...
