The FR 14 Glam Edition is a ski touring binding from ATK.

It is the evolution of the well-known Raider 12, in a lighter form, with rear tilting ski stops, useful new technologies, and an even more incredible finish than before. What makes this Freeraider 14 Glam Edition different from the Freeraider 14 is its 1980s-inspired look and the fact that it is a limited edition model with only 199 pairs produced worldwide. This binding has been developed with the objective of combining a lightweight form factor with ultimate downhill performance, and ATK has used all its expertise as well as high quality materials. This is THE binding that bridges the gap between classic touring and freeriding.

The FR 14 Glam Edition boasts a weight of 360 grams per binding (10% lighter than its predecessor), which allows it to perform extremely well in uphill mode without taking all your energy before switching to downhill mode. Very comfortable, it is also easy to handle and saves you time with each adjustment. With its 5 magnetic heel lift settings, you won't run out of options.

But it is on the way down that this binding will come into its own. Thanks to its wide base, perfect for freetouring skis, its spring-mounted Elastic Response System provides elasticity and an unaltered ski radius. With its increased DIN of 8-14, it offers a very good resistance and allows you to push hard, even in complicated conditions. In addition to the higher DIN adjustment, the FR 14 differs from its little sister the R12 by integrating a Freeride Spacer, which is a plate placed under the heel of your shoe to offer an additional support point. The shoe is no longer only fixed on the fork as with conventional bindings. The FR 14 Glam Edition offers 25 mm of heel adjustment, and the Heel system developed by ATK provides additional heel stability and precise cornering even in difficult snow conditions.
