The Hometown Hero Kid is a kids' snowboard from Burton.
This board has been designed for the mini-shreders who want to hit the pow! With its directional shape and nose rocker, kids will have all they need to charge as hard as grown-ups. The 12mm taper allows for easy turns in all conditions.
The FSC® Certified Super Fly 800G Core offers dynamism and flexibility to enable you to carve lower than any other kids' board.

Sharp carving, increased speed, tight turns and even a little freestyle: this board has everything your child needs to progress quickly and become the future pro of their generation.
Camber - Directional camber : The directional camber profile has camber under both feet for optimal stability in deep turns and variable conditions, and a Rocker nose which provides height and better float.
Shape - Directional (taper: 12mm): The directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed for a ride with a nose that is slightly longer than the tail in order to concentrate pop in the tail, while offering a lot of float, fluidity and control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Flex - Directional : The directional flex provides more dynamism on the tail and a more flexible nose which allow the rider to keep control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Core - FSC® Certified Super Fly 800G Core with Dualzone® EGD® : The Super Fly 800G core is a highly dynamic two-wood core with laminations of hard and soft wood to reduce overall weight without limiting performance. The wood grain designed with Dualzone EGD is positioned along the edges under the toes and heel in two continuous areas, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge grip and enhanced responsiveness.
Fiberglass - Triax® : Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for all types of riding, from smooth to intense.
Base - Recycled Sintered WFO : The WFO sintered base features a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of its extra-absorbent high-density material, making it extremely durable for all season riding in all conditions.
Technology:
- The Channel® : The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with all common bindings.
- Epoxy Super Sap® Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.
- Infinite Ride® : this technology allows the snowboard to retain its flex, pop and performances identical to the first day of use throughout its lifespan.
-Pro-Tip® : the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for more lightness and improved handling.
