Description

The Falcor Black is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard binding from Union. It is designed for experienced riders to expert who are looking for responsive bindings.

To set the scene, we can start by saying that this is the model of choice for Travis Rice. Suffice it to say that the Falcor is not made to laugh but rather to send it hard.

The Falcor uses a wide range of materials that give it a wide range of performance. Carbon and nylon used in the Forgred Hybrid 2.0 spoiler give the binding its rigidity for an agressive ride, while the Duraflex in the base of the Stage 6 provide tolerance and manoeuvrability. To increase the level of comfort of the Falcor, Fused Vaporlite + pads provide the necessary cushioning. Especially when landing in hard snow!

The combination of rigid spoilers and Exoframe 5.0 straps provide direct control for perfect edge changes. Although the Falcor provides firm support, it is not just a steel cage with no freedom of movement. Quite the opposite in fact! The spoiler developed for the needs of Travis Rice and the TS 4.0+ ankle and toe straps ensure an excellent lateral flex zone!

Toe straps- TS4.0+ : Ultra lightweight and high-performance, it holds the foot in place without you even feeling it. Instant and tool-free adjustment.

Buckles - Magnesium S1 Ratchets : These magnesium buckles are 4 times more durable and weigh half as much as aluminium buckles. The mechanism is completely insulated from the environment, protecting it from cold, moisture and tightening stress. The buckle therefore gains in durability and precision.

Minidisk: Compatible with all insert systems: 4x2 and The Channel.
