Deacon 79 is an all-round piste ski with a playful, sporty style. Its polyurethane and wooden Dual Wood Core XL , coupled with Glass Frame technology, make this a ski with excellent durability and a dynamic, sporty glide. The dynamism is controlled and when the speed is high the Deacon from Völkl remains stable thanks to the 3D.Ridge.
The Tip & Tail Rocker is located in the tip and tail for manoeuvrability on the piste. The Deacon ensures performance in all conditions for advanced skiers looking for a comfortable pair.
The IPT WR XL 12 TCX GW binding for the Deacon 79 provides greater control and responsive transmission between the boot and the ski. It is the IPT Wideride system that provides this.

Bindings:
IPT WR XL 12 TCX GW: Marker and Völkl have developed the IPT Wideride system with a contact surface width 30% greater than the standard width. On top of that, the binding is mounted much closer to the edge of the ski. This allows the energy to flow more directly and continuously to the edges. This makes the skis wider, more agile, more responsive and easier to control. The skis are more in tune with the skier's movements, so you can be very precise.
