The men's Custom Flying V from Burton is a freeride board for intermediate riders.
The Custom Flying V is similar to the classic Custom. The difference between these two boards is the camber.
With a Flying V® camber, this board offered by Burton is more accessible and a bit more playful. Pop and control are increased. This camber still offers power in turns and a little more float compared to the classic model.
Designed with a directional shape and twin flex. The Custom Flying V is made to ride all terrains in all conditions. Powerful, dynamic and balanced, this board has all the qualities of a versatile snowboard. Thanks to its shape and flex, this board provides on-piste continuous edge grip, good float in pow and dynamic pop.
The FSC® Certified Super Fly II® 700G Core is strong and light. Its firmness provides the necessary responsiveness for descents on groomed slopes and in the park. And the Sintered WFO provides quick glide and is durable so you don't lose glide over the seasons.
In short, the Custom Flying V is a board for on-piste riding, powder and the park. It is ultra versatile and will accompany you just everywhere.

Camber - Flying V® : The Flying V profile features rocker areas between and around the feet for more fun, and float and camber areas under your feet which increase edge control for clean pressure, more pop and powerful turns.
Shape - Directional : Its directional shape is designed with a nose that is slightly longer than tail in order to concentrate pop in the tail, while providing a lot of float, fluidity and control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Flex Twin - 6/10 : Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail for balance and versatility, whether you're riding regular or switch.
Core - FSC® Certified Super Fly II® 700G Core with Dualzone® EGD® and Squeezebox : Super Fly II 700G core features stronger, lighter wood to provide a high level of responsiveness and strength while reducing overall weight. The wood grain designed with Dualzone EGD is positioned along the edges, under the toe and heel, in two continuous areas perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge hold and enhanced responsiveness.
Fiberglass - 45° Carbon Highlights : The Carbon Highlights 45° fiberglass construction optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds an integral carbon coating to reduce weight and refine twist feel.
Base - Recycled Sintered WFO : The WFO sintered base features a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of its extra-absorbent high-density material, making it extremely durable for all season riding in all conditions.
Technology:
- The Channel® : The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with the major brands' bindings.
- Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge grip.
- Pro-Tip™ : the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for more lightness and improved handling.
- Infinite Ride™: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, pop and behaviour throughout its lifespan.
- Super Sap® Epoxy : strong topsheet
