The Burton Custom is an all-mountain men's snowboard for advanced riders. If you don't know your snowboard classics, let's have a quick recap! The Burton Custom is THE all-mountain board. The Custom is the "Swiss army knife" of all-mountain boards and can come up with the goods in ANY situation.
The Custom has been around since 1996 and hasn't aged in the slightest for two decades - the technology and construction has simply been finely-tuned. The regular camber and stiff flex (7/10) are what make the Custom such a skillful all-rounder.
With the Custom's grip you can ride with the same energy whatever the terrain! The flex is distributed evenly from nose to tail so it's great for freestyling. If you want to spin, the Custom will deliver!
A snowboard suited to all conditions the Custom features Carbon Highlights and Squeezebox technology for a lightweight construction, more resounding pop and a smooth ride that can handle every type of mountain terrain that you're likely to encounter. All terrains, all slopes, all types of snow, the Custom, has been designed to put everything in its path to the test.

Cambre - Camber: A powerful camber that also ensures precise turns. This high grip camber with dynamic pop distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control.
Shape - Directional: classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for excellent float on fresh powder.
Flex - 7/10 - Twin : symmetrical stiff flex from tip to tail for a balanced ride whether you're riding normal or switch.
Core - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox: highly resistant light wooden core. Dualzone™ EGD™ is a type of core construction which involves positioning wood fibres on the bindings and middle of the board perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around the binding inserts and between bindings to improve energy transfer.
Fiberglass - 45° Carbon Highlights : uses layers of carbon and fibre at a 45 degree angle creating a more aggressive feel in twisting flex.
Base - Sintered WFO: this base has ultra-absorbent properties when waxed. Sintered finish and enhanced durability.
Technology:
- The Channel® : Burton's own mounting system which makes it quick and easy to change stance and binding angles.
- Frostbite Edges: edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge hold.
- Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board to increase weight and improve handling.
- Infinite Ride™: technology that ensures that the snowboard retains the same flex, pop and energy it had the first time you used it.
- Super Sap® Epoxy: hard-wearing topsheet.
