It is created using inverted hybrid construction, turning the manufacturing process on its head. For example, the ABS construction combined with the Holo Core is found on the sides and front of the helmet, giving it optimal stability and more protection during impacts. On top of the helmet, the in-mold construction makes the Count Amid lighter.
In addition, the Count Amid features AMIDtechnology, a revolutionary dual-density foam that protects you from shocks by absorbing energy, providing 40% more protection than industry standards.
In terms of comfort and fit, the Count Amid features the 360° Fit System technology, which allows a 360° adjustment for a more precise fit that adapts to the shape and size of your head, as well as Live Fittechnology, which consists of small pads placed inside the helmet for more comfort and cushioning during an impact.
As for ventilation, the Count Amid includes vents and the Aircon system for better heat dissipation. For more comfort, there is also an anti-bacterial and anti-odour merino lining.
Finally, the Count Amid has the RECCO safety system that allows rescuers to find you in the event of an avalanche.
