The MIPS Code is a unisex ski/snowboard helmet from the brand Smith.
The MIPS Code combines a minimalist aesthetic with an Aerocore™ construction featuring Koroyd®. The lightweight and discreet In-Mold shell guarantees optimal protection. Created by Smith, the AirEvac technology was designed to ensure perfect goggle integration.
Its MIPS creates a sliding layer between the outer shell and the head. This allows the helmet's outer shell to slide relative to the head when hitting the ground, so the rotational force is decreased, reducing the risk of damaging your brain.
The BOA adjustment system and the Wayfinder strap with a Fidlock buckle are simple, functional and offer optimal support.
The technical tricot liner ensures a high level of comfort.

Technology:
- IN-MOLD: the performance standard for many years, this construction incorporates a PC shell helmet with an EPS liner to optimise weight reduction. Lightweight and comfortable.
- MIPS: the low-friction layer allows the helmet to slide over the head and offers protection against rotational forces. This technology ensures optimal protection.
