The Cannon 2024 is a freeride board for advanced boarders.
You may have seen it at halfpipe competitions or on the slopes of freeride competitions or simply in the chairlift queue and wondered what that (big) swallow-tailed board was?
This is the Cannon 2024, an iconic board with a history at Nitro but also, by its shape, in the memories of the old branches of our mountains.
So you might ask: what is this Cannon worth when it is put on?
Its huge nose and its Cam-Out camber give it a pronounced rocker and therefore impressive buoyancy. In addition, the Standard Core profile and Swallowtail will give you full control and perfect curves in deep snow. Its Bi-laminate edges will be very useful for your carves on and off the piste. This little ball of nerves will make you want to ski non-stop down all the slopes of your favourite mountain. Its Powercore II core provides stability and will prevent you from losing control even at full speed.
If you want to have fun and style on your snowboarding trips and get away from your usual twin riding habits, the Cannon 2024 will not disappoint you.

Turn radius/Sidecuts/Set back:
173 cm: 7.7/ 6.9 m / 300-255-292 mm / -25
203 cm: 9.7/ 8.9 m / 310-255-302 mm / -30
Camber:
Cam-Out (Camber + Rocker): classic camber under the feet for the grip and dynamism associated with rocker boards, for float in powder and a board that is a little more tolerant than a classic camber board designed without rocker.
Shape:
Tapered Directional : shape in which the tip is wider than the rear, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater the stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Progressive Sidecut wider curve radius at the front of the board. Encourages increased acceleration at the end of a turn, while the nose reduces any bumps in the snow.
Width: Mid-Wide
Flex:
7/10 All-terrain - Rigid Flex. Versatile flex for guaranteed responsiveness and all-mountain pop.
