The CT 3.0 X Mademoiselle has the exact same construction and shape as the famous Candide 3.0. It has the same 108 mm waist width and a slightly more supple flex, making it even more playful. While freeride is clearly part of its DNA, this pair of skis is versatile and can be used for a wide range of activities, since it is also very comfortable in on the piste or in freestyle mode. With its 2 mm camber under the foot, its dynamic pop propels you into the air at the slightest impulse, allowing you throw your favourite tricks all over the resort.The grip is also very good, and its relatively short radius of 16 meters makes it really manageable and playful. Its lightweight Balsa and Pachaco core will ensure all the necessary lightness required for good powder sessions! Its titanium reinforcement plates under the bindings ensure a secure grip of the binding screws, making the ultra-light core even more durable.
Faction has made durability one its top priorities so that you can make the most out of your skis without having to worry about it. The CT 2.0 X Mademoiselle features a sandwich construction and a heavy-duty matt rough topsheet. Its micro-cap protection also helps to enjoy its very successful top-sheet for an extended period of time. With its double rocker and directional shape, it it manages well in freeride mode, and is faster and better on the pistes compared to a fully twin ski!
The CT 3.0 X Mademoiselle de Faction is a great addition to the existing range and has been designed as a result of Candide Thovex's wish to celebrate women who shred and are looking for a pair of high performing skis to have fun with each time they head out on the mountain.

Shape:
Pure Directional Twin:
This shape is inspired by symmetrical freestyle skis but is slightly modified to give it freeride capabilities. The tail is slightly thinner than the tip, allowing the ski to be faster and to have better alpine behaviour when compared to a perfectly twin ski. Like that of its symmetrical brother for the park, tip and tail have the same height to give it good ride and switch receptions.

Lightweight Balsa and Pachaco core:
Balsa wood is a soft wood with an exceptional weight-to-power ratio. By reinforcing it with pachaco, a less known but just as valuable hardwood, and a little poplar, it makes the ski light but powerful and extremely high performing in all conditions.
Full Strength Sidewall:
The full strength sidewall is a construction that applies layers of protective material along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet from above. The edges offer the best possible stability and grip when turning, while protecting the wooden core, edges and cover sheet from possible external impacts and damage.
Titanal reinforcement plates under the bindings:
When you set off into the backcountry, you must have full confidence in your equipment. Our Titanal reinforcement plates are placed above our light cores to ensure a completely secure grip of the binding screws. These monohull plates are designed to accommodate downhill or touring bindings, making these ultra-light cores more durable.
Anti-Chip Micro-Cap:
The micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines the sandwich construction with premium edges, which is fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to the micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise flake off in the event of impact.

It has exactly the same features as the men's version and is just as playful but is a little bit more lightweight. You'll be able to carve on the pistes, hit rails in the snowpark, pop and float in the powder. In short, you can do everything with this ski!
