60 days to change your mindThis season, the Camel Two is filling the All-mountain / freeride range for Men from the Norwegian brand Bataleon.
Derived from the legendary Camel Toe board, the Camel Two also includes some of the elements that have made this freeride nugget a success. There is a directional shape for precise turns, a standard camber for grip and a massive nose for powder. It looks like the same board with a different print.
But to differentiate them, you just have to climb on them (or look at the characteristics). The Camel Two is one of the boards with one of the most worked cores of the brand. The Light Core offers the perfect mix of strength and lightness. Coupled with carbon tubes that stiffen the board, the Camel Two is not afraid of speeding or hard snow. The Carbon Stringers reinforcements further increase the edge hold, providing carving sessions at mach2.
Equipped with the sidekick technology, the Camel Two has the famous raised edge profile that allows for smoother cornering in hard snow, while providing insane flotation when the conditions are right. The smaller tail rocker for powerful and sustained turns.
The Camel Two is the perfect board for all riders who want to perform on both groomed and deep snow.
Warning: In an effort to reduce waste, Bataleon randomly produces the base colours by inverting graphics and backgrounds.
- Camber:
Medium Camber: Slightly revised standard camber. Provides a good grip in hard snow, but easily forgives tricky landings and small edge faults.
- Flex:
5/10: Flex medium, a board that absorbs the roughness of the terrain while remaining rigid enough to absorb speed and grip on hard snow.
- Rockers:
Low Uplift Tail/ High Uplift Nose Very pronounced tip rocker for a board that can be easily thrown in powder. Small tail rocker to increase snow feel and maneouvrability.
- Shape:
POW 3BT: The oversized Nose of this shape ensures unequalled flotation. The central base of the board is very thin and leaves a lot of room for the raised edge of the sidekick. Unbeatable in powder, make no mistake, it also holds up on hard snow.
Sidekick: Edges raised at widest points of nose and tail. Allows for smoother curves, increases powder flotation and holds up in difficult snow conditions. You have to ride it to believe it!
- Core:
Light Woodcore Wooden core 50% Swiss paulownia and 50% poplar for a perfect mix between strength and weight.
Dual Super Tubes: 2 carbon tubes placed as reinforcement in the core. Drastically increases board pop and camber grip.
Carbon Stringers: Ultra-light carbon blade directly integrated in the core. Result? Explosive pop, precise edge holding, and a more responsive board.
- Topsheet:
Biax Laminate Two-dimensional fibreglass layer applied above and below the core. This style of construction has been tried and tested for generations and allows you to get a more playful board without making it too stiff.
- Sole:
Hyperglide S: Standard sintered sole, hard and fast, waxed to improve glide.
Flip-Flop: Randomly produced sole colours to avoid wastage of material.
- 3BT (Triple Base Technology):
The concept patented by the brand, which consists of a shape based on a working snowboard. Flat central part with a progressive raising of the edges in tip and tail. This makes it possible to draw straight ahead without having to worry about the edges catching. At the start of a turn, the board lifts up, providing constant pressure along the edge. On the edge, the arch shape offers an unequalled hold. This shape brings one of many advantages, such as better flotation, less risk of planting edges in the snow on landings...
