60 days to change your mindThe BRD 2020 from Lib Tech is a men's all-mountain/freeride snowboard for experienced riders.
Lib Tech has chosen for the BRD its best performing camber, the C3 Camber. This camber is equipped with a slight rocker between the inserts and a traditional camber under the supports for the greatest control.
The BRD's shape is directional with backward-facing bindings and a larger nose than tail. Thus, we get a board with better flotation, ideal for powder. As for the tail, it is a little shorter than the nose to ensure maximum comfort during deep snow landings.
The BRD is built with an Original Power core, of 75% Poplar wood and 25% Paulownia wood. This is reinforced by Tri-axial and Bi-axial fibreglass layers, for better stability and responsiveness.
On hard snow, no worries, the Lib Tech boards are fitted with Magne-Traction corrugated edges that turn the ice to snow, ensuring the best grip. Thus, the BRD offers some security during the most dedicated descents.

Camber:
C3 Camber (standard camber + rocker in the centre): a camber for high level snowboarders. It is built with a slight rocker between the feet combined with a powerful camber on the nose and tail. The central rocker balances the pressure between the nose and tail to maximise edge grip and board precision.
Shape:
Directional: a shape in which the front is wider than the back, making it easier to enter and exit curves, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improving buoyancy.

Tri-ax/Bi-Ax Fiber : biaxial and triaxial fibreglass.
Core:
Original Power: a core made of 75% poplar wood (Aspen) and 25% Paulownia wood, from plantations close to the Lib Tech factory, to ensure lighter weight without impacting the performance and robustness of the board.
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection: the nose and tail of the board are in UHMW polyethylene and not wood. Why? In the event of embedding after an impact, no water will enter your core and so your board will last longer.
Birch Internal Sidewall: The wood along the edges is birch.
UHMW Sintered Sidewall: the sidewalls are in UHMW (a sort of elastomer) and not in polluting ABS.
Base:
+Base Sintered base: Sintered base, quick and easy to maintain.
