The Blade Optic collection is made up of four models of freeride skis ranging from 92mm to 116mm in width. It is a true blend of the Line Vision and Blade skis. Basically, Line has taken the profile of the Vision skis (shape, rocker, flex, mounting point) and combined it with the Blade skis' laminated metal core construction. Given the light weight of the Vision skis, the heavier Blade core is intended to make the Blade Optics considerably more stable at higher speeds than the Visionskis, while still retaining some of the playful driving aspects of the latter. These skis are powerful and very stable, but also very manoeuvrable, ideal for skiing anywhere at high speeds.

Technology:
Sidewall: Ultra-high-density polyethylene walls at the edges absorb vibration for maximum durability, giving a feeling of softness and stability
Fatty™ Base & Edge: The edges are 30% thicker, as is the overall construction. This, together with a 1.7mm base greatly improves the durability and lifespan of the skis.
Aspen Veneer Core: Light and agile Aspen wood.
Thin Tip: The core has been lightened and the edges thinned out.
Early Rise: The rise of the tip and tail starts sooner as the skis' profile moves away from the centre, making turning easier and helping to keep the skis stable. It also means effortless float in softer snow!
Directional Flex: The more flexible tip allows for easy pivoting and float while the more rigid tail provides power, stability and control at high speed.
5-Cut: 5 different curve radiuses for a more intuitive and agile pair of skis.
