The Blacklight 74 are cross-country skis from Dynafit.
Dynafit's Blacklight range of products includes some outstanding products. It is characterised by high-end Speed Touring skis, to offer the best performance in high altitude.
New for the 2020/2021 season, the Blacklight 74 is an ultra-light model weighing less than one kilo (in size 165 cm)! It is intended for demanding skiers, for whom every gram counts. You're going to go straight up the mountain!
The Blacklight 74 is the slimmest model in the range, with a 74 mm middle. Its Cap construction and carbon construction allow for low weight, while offering optimal downhill performance. The unidirectional carbon also provides maximum rigidity, while its paulownia core provides lightness and strength and allows the ski to be more tolerant to limit the effort required.
The Blacklight 74 is equipped with a progressive double rocker for more performance in fresh snow, while maintaining control even on hard snow. Its stability is made possible thanks to the 3D construction, which reduces the density in the binding area for optimal comfort while maintaining a good glide.
The Blacklight 74 is a high-performing ski which will be your ally for all your ascents!

Turn radius/Sidecut/weight (per pair):
158 cm : 15 m / 109-73-94 mm / 1860 g
165 cm: 16.5 m / 110-74-95 mm / 1960 g
172 cm 18 m / 111-75-96 mm / 2080 g
Materials & construction :
Construction Cap:
Shell construction is the lightest construction in skiing. It makes your skiing light, maneuverable and forgiving
Full sidewall
The use of ABS along the entire length of the edge guarantees maximum shock absorption (DNA)
Paulownia Speed Core
Paulownia is distinguished by its lightness and the high strength of its elongated fibres, properties that are particularly appreciated when doing some high-performance, technical skiing. Its lower torsional resistance results in skis that are more tolerant and require less effort.
UD Carbon
Unidirectional carbon for maximum rigidity with minimum weight.
Technologies:
3D Tech
The 3D construction reduces the density in the the binding area and minimises the necessary momentum, without compromising the glide.
No compromise for this ultra-light ski, with a very good weight/performance ratio! On the way up, there's absolutely nothing to say. You feel like you have nothing on your feet. Downhill, the stability is astonishing. A top-of-the-range cross-country ski for even faster ascents!
Advantages:lightness, rigidity on descent
Disadvantages:lacks a little lift in deep snow
