The Birds Of A Feather from Capita is a women's all-mountain snowboard for those of an intermediate to advanced level.

The brand's most popular women's model, it was developed with one idea in mind: to offer the most versatileboard.

On the track, it's reliable and grippy with its positive camber and carbon reinforcements that stabilise it in corners and also make it more dynamic. But that doesn't mean it's a crowbar, and its perfectly balanced 5/10 flex is ideal for a smooth ride without breaking your legs.

She's ready to break new ground with her two rockers and her spatulas Wah-Pow! The Birds Of A Feather is capable of carving through powder and holding its own on more difficult terrain.

On the freestyle side, it's superbly comfortable with its playful pop, amplified by the carbon. Its flex, forgiving torsion and 15 centimetres of flat camber outside the inserts make it a playful, stable board. Always with the P2 Superlightcore, it never feels heavy and is shock-resistant.

Camber:

Resort V1 Profile (standard camber + flat + rockers) a mix of standard, flat and inverted camber. Positive camber between presses for grip and support. Flat camber outside of the presses for stability on the nose. Reverse camber (rocker) for forgiveness and easier entry into corners. This new camber provides the pop and responsiveness of a standard camber board, with the handling and tolerance of a flat or reverse camber board.

Shape:

Blended radial/ True Twin: Symmetrical board in terms of dimensions and flex. Ideal for freestyle riding and jibbing. A sidecut Blended Radial offers different curve radii between the centre of the board and the contact zones, suitable for certain aspects of riding.

Materials/Technologies:

Core:
- P2 Superlight Core : Poplar wood core and palauwnia stringers. Quality core with uniform flex, predictable behaviour and lighter weight than recent models. Blend of power and manoeuvrability.
- Fortress Kevlar bound sidewalls: Kevlar reinforcements placed along the edges.
- Carbon fiber booster: Two carbon strips are placed all along the core between the inserts and the edges. Power and responsiveness are boosted to the max!
- FULL ABS1000 Sidewalls: durable ABS sidewalls

Topsheet:
- Special blend Fiberglass & Magic Bean Resin: Tolerant bi-axial fibreglass. The Magic Bean Resin is made from 60% recycled materials and beans!

Base:
Quantum Drive base : A new version of a very high-density sintered base made from polyethylene for fast and accurate glide.

La Birds Of A Feather est une arme de choix pour les rideuses polyvalentes qui aiment tout ce qu'il y a de meilleur dans le snowboard. C'est une planche capable de trancher les kickers et offrir des réceptions tolérantes sans nous envoyer dans le décor sur les réceptions moins propres.

L'accroche est saine et convient parfaitement pour la prise de vitesse sur tous types de neige. Sur la piste, elle est volontaire et engagée et ne nous fait aucune mauvaise surprise.

La Birds Of A Feather est aussi accessible techniquement que financièrement. Très très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Les Plus : polyvalence, valeur sûre et durabilité de la planche.
