The most important board of the Yes range, the Basic is an everyday board that has been part of the range since the brand started. The Basic has now earned its place as the most versatile board.
The aim of Basic is to make every idea that comes to the mind of the snowboarder possible. With its standard camber and two rockers, the Basic ensures a firm hold on every support and offers a certain tolerance and playability in the tips.
The UnderBite technology patented by Yes allows a better distribution of the support force on each grip. This reduces the skidding effect at high speeds. Like any board that comes from the imagination of the guys at Yes, the Basic is a board with freestyle inspirations. The centred stance and true twin shape allow you to let loose in the snowpark just like on natural kickers.

Shape :
True Twin : traditional symmetrical shape with a nose and tail of identical length and width. The stance is centred and the flex is the same along the entire length of the board. The sidecut is predictable and stable.
UnderBite: significant reduction of sidecut in each area of the bindings. Sidecut dip to limit "over leaning" and slipping. The Underbite distributes the weight more evenly over the entire edge.
Core:
Full Poplar : Poplar core for a perfect balance between durability, constant flex and light weight
Topsheet :
Biax : Bi-axial fibreglass.
Sole - Extruded : extruded sole obtained by pressure
Il ne faut pas se fier à son nom car vous pourriez vous méprendre. La Basic n'est pas une board basique ou simple. La Basic possède beaucoup d'atouts qui vont plaire autant à des riders intermédiaires qu'à des riders confirmés.
La prise en main est assez facile avec les rockers qui apportent de la tolérance. L'accroche est franche et son shape twin la rend bien joueuse. La Basic mets bien à l'aise en park comme sur piste et permet de tout faire dans une journée bien remplie.
